Sayeeda T Ahmad was born in Bangladesh but grew up in the US, making pit stops in between in the Middle East. Now pursuing an MFA in poetry, she has a B.S. in Electrical Information Engineering Technology and an M.A. in English from the University of Northern Iowa. Her work has appeared in Monsoonletters, ditch, Stone's Throw Magazine, Wasafiri, on Safina Radio Project, Anomaly Literary Journal, Six Season's Review, Plum Tree Tavern, Arts & Letters, and the Colombian-Argentinian anthology, Arbolarium, Antología poética de los cinco continentes. In November 2016, Dhaka-based Bengal Lights Books published her debut collection of poems, Across Oceans.
