Research areas: Postmodern American fiction and poetry, globalization and literature, and ecocriticism

Patrick Gabbard was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. In 2005 he received a B.A. in History from the University of Utah. In 2011 he received an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from Arizona State University. He is currently a fifth-year PhD candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Kansas. His poetry has appeared in Neon, Black Fox Literary Magazine, and OVS Literary Magazine.
