Maria Dones

Graduate Teaching Assistant
Primary office:

Research Interests: Coming-of-age fiction, fairytales and fairytale retellings, speculative fiction, lyrical prose

Maria Dones is pursuing an MFA at the University of Kansas. She likes to write about magic because she's still bitter about that Hogwarts letter that never arrived. When she's not reading old fairy tales or obsessing over Korean dramas, you can find her trying to befriend other people's cats.
