Garrett Fiddler

Primary office:

Research Areas: Creative writing, speculative fiction, philosophy, intellectual history, linguistics, Old English literature, and music and its relation to fiction

Garrett Fiddler is an MFA holder from Oregon by way of Colorado, New York, and Connecticut. He writes fantasy, science fiction, occasional lies, and some things that are almost true. His main goal right now is to tell good stories that people enjoy reading, but he'd also seriously like to get at some issues of irony and sincerity, worldviews, doubt, truth, how to become oneself and why, whether we can actually know anything, better ways to live, and also how to make people laugh. He will get back to you when he's made some headway on this.
