Research Areas: Creative writing, 20th century and contemporary American literature, autobiographical comics, and comic poetry

Danny Caine graduated from the MFA program in 2017. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Hobart, TLDR, New Ohio ReviewAtticus Review, Off the Coast, and The Cafe Review. Holder of an MA in English from John Carroll University, he is former editor of The John Carroll Review. In 2014, he was the masters-level recipient of the 2014 Midwest Association of Graduate Schools Excellence in Teaching Award. His first chapbook, Uncle Harold's Maxwell House Haggadah, is out now from Etchings Press. He is the owner of the Raven Book Store in Lawrence, KS.
